ANDREW ALNER IS DIGICEL’S 3^RD $5000 SUMMER PROMOTION WINNER!

On June 28^th, telecoms provider Digicel kicked started its 2011 summer and 5^th anniversary promotions under the theme 5 years of Digicel Fever.  The 5 Years of Digicel Fever Summer Promotion is a $25,000 Cash giveaway that allows 5 lucky customers to qualify for a $5000 cash prize. Digicel will select five winners throughout the duration of the promotion which ends on September 7^th, 2011 and will present customers with five ways to qualify for the draw. This includes signing up for a postpaid plan, Topping up $20 or more,  purchasing a Top 5 non-blackberry handset, purchasing a blackberry smartphone and playing Digicel’s text to win game.  

Digicel announced its first summer promotion winner during the company’s finale celebration on July 9^th at the Children’s Park. Shalawn Delancy was awarded a cheque for $5000 for signing up for Digicel’s postpaid service.  On July 27^th, another lucky customer, Tracy-Ann Blake an employee with Air Turks and Caicos in Grand Turk walked away with $5000 for topping up $20 or more.

Most recently, Digicel awarded its 3^rd winner with a cheque for $5000 in a brief presentation at the company’s flagship store at Graceway House in Providenciales on August 16^th. This time, the lucky winner was Andrew Elnar, a Filipino national who works at the popular Vino Tiempo Wine bar. Andrew was elated to be Digicel’s latest winner and to receive a cheque for $5000. Andrew expressed disbelief when he first received the telephone call that he won $5000. However, during the presentation Andrew went on to thank Digicel for giving customers the opportunity to win such great prizes and expressed that the winnings will go towards a car.

Digicel Summer Promotion continues until September 7^th, 2011. The company will announce its two remaining winners in a few weeks and encourages customers to purchase a blackberry handset or play Digicel’s text to win game for a chance to win $5000.
