Digicel partners with RIM (Makers of Blackberry) to offer customers 8 weeks of FREE Blackberry Service.

March 30^th 2010, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands: Rochelle Williams of Providenciales is a first time owner of a brand new laptop courtesy of Digicel and Research In Motion (the makers of Blackberry).  The two companies have partnered to offer 8 weeks of free BlackBerry service to all non-active data BlackBerry users across the Digicel Caribbean and Central America Countries.  Over the next few weeks, these customers will have unlimited BB data access to utilise features of the smartphone such as emails, internet browsing, and Facebook access.  Promotional Giveaways are a part of the offer and customers stand the opportunity to win big prizes if they participate.

Rochelle participated in the ‘Email us to WIN’ Competition, and impressed the judges with her explanation on how her Blackberry keeps her connected. She ranked in the top three of hundreds of submissions from the participating countries.

She explained that her win came as a surprise but nonetheless she was elated. “It’s one of those things that you want to own and I am very happy. I am proud to be a Digicel Customer, staying connected, in the know and on the GO” she explained.
