1. What is the Digicel VIP Pass plan?
· Digicel VIP Pass plan allows Digicel customers access to unlimited Blackberry data, 50 anywhere SMS, unlimited local Digicel to Digicel calls, 100 Digicel regional minutes and 30 minutes to call the USA, Canada and UK for $2.99 a day (24 hours)
2. What is different about the New VIP Pass plan?
· The new VIP Pass plan now includes 50 anywhere SMS, in addition to unlimited Blackberry data, unlimited local Digicel to Digicel calls, 100 Digicel regional minutes and 30 minutes to call the USA, Canada and UK for a reduced price of $2.99 a day.
3. Who is eligible for this promotion?
· This promotion is only available to Digicel prepaid customers.
4. Are Dual Account subscribers eligible for this promotion?
? Yes. ALL Digicel prepaid customers including Dual Accounts customers are eligible for the service.
? Note: For Dual Account customers the service will automatically be activated on the prepaid side of their account, so they must have credit on their prepaid side for activation. Customer will therefore be required to use the prefix # when dialing the selected destinations.
5. How much money should be on the account to activate the plan?
· The account should have at least the cost of the plan US $2.99 in order to activate.
6. How do I activate the promotion?
? STEPS:
v Dial “*134# SEND” to initiate the VIP Pass plan.
v Once the request is received the customer will receive instructions via text messages as seen below:
v Message 1: “Welcome to Digicel Call plans to the USA, UK, Canada, Regional, Jamaica and Local Digicel to Digicel. Instructions to join a plan will follow.”
v Message 2 (Activate Plan): “To activate plan USA, UK, Canada dial *134*10#. To activate plan. Jamaica dial *134*60#. To activate plan All Inclusive Day Pass Dial *134*70#"
v Message 3 (Activate plan): “To activate plan VIP Pass at a cost of 3.50 USD dial *134*80#.
v Once the request for activation has been submitted, the customer will receive a message prompting them to either confirm or cancel activation.
v Message 4 (Confirm Activation): “Please confirm activation of VIP Pass by dialing *134*1#. To cancel dial *134*9#.
v Once the activation is complete, a final confirmation text message is sent advising the customer that the plan is now active.
Ø “For 24 hours you have BB services, 50 anywhere SMS, 300 mins local Digi; 100 mins Digi Caribbean; and 30 mins USA, Canada, and UK fixed lines calls. To check your mins enter *134*80#."
7. When does the plan become available?
? The plan becomes available Friday, April 22nd, 2010.
8. How long will the plan be available?
? This plan does not have an end date. However, Digicel reserves the right to enable an end date at anytime. Customers will be advised of any changes to the product.
9. Does the local minutes apply to IslandCom and LIME calls?
? No. The minutes are allocated to only local Digicel calls, Digicel Caribbean (excludes Haiti, Antigua and Guyana) and USA, Canada, and UK fixed lines.
10. Do the unused minutes roll-over?
? No. The allotted minutes are valid for only one (1) day. Any unused minutes will expire after this time.
11. Do I need to activate the plan at a specific time of day?
· No. The plan can be activated at any time, as the 24 hours will begin from the date and time of activation.
12. Are the minutes valid only on the day of signing up for the plan?
? No. The allotted minutes are valid for 24 hours starting at the time of activation. Therefore if a subscriber signs up for the plan at 19:43 on April 23rd the plan expires at 19:43 on April 24th.
13. How do I check the minutes used /expiration date of my VIP Pass plan?
? By entering *134*80# on an account with an active VIP Pass Plan, customers will receive a text advising on the minutes used and the expiration date and time.
14. Can I activate multiple VIP Pass plans simultaneously?
· No. Only one (1) VIP Pass plan can be activated at a time.
15. What is the fair usage policy for the VIP Day Pass plan?
· Customers will receive unlimited blackberry service, 300 minutes for local on-net calls, 100 Digicel Caribbean minutes and 30 minutes for calls to the USA, Canada and UK fixed lines.
16. Can I activate another plan if I have exhausted the fair usage?
· No. Another plan can only be activated after the 24 hour period has elapsed. A text message will also be sent to the customer once the plan has expired.
17. What happens if I exceed the minutes outlined in the fair usage policy?
· If minutes are exceeded, customer will be charged the regular rates for the destination being called.
18. Are the minutes on the plan applicable while roaming?
· No, if roaming, regular roaming rates will apply for all incoming and outgoing calls. Customers will have to be in the Turks & Caicos Islands to use this service.
19. Are text messages included with the bundled minutes?
· Yes. Customers receive 50 text messages to local Digicel, local Lime and Islandcom customers.
