Grand Turk Community College Student Gets New Computer as Part of Digicel’s

November 6, 2006 – Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos: Digicel presented Ms. Kelly Astwood of Grand Turk with a brand new Compaq laptop computer as part of its back to school promotion. Grand Turk community college student, Astwood, was one of a number of people whose names were entered into a special electronic drawing held on October 1, 2006. The Digicel back-to-school promotion included special deals on handsets and the chance to win a new laptop to everyone who purchased phone credit. Ms. Astwood was the lucky name pulled in the drawing and Mr. E. J. Saunders, Chief Operating Officer of Digicel, presented her with the prize in the flagship Digicel store in Grand Turk.
